The band has come a long way with their final 2001 released album "Of Human Bondage". They developed a sound starting out from speed and thrash metal over hints of heavy and progressive metal finally arriving at progressive power metal - punchy, synth heavy, with hard kicking riffs and classy with poetic lyrics nicely performed by Dirk Thurich. Each and everyone of their albums has a distinct unique sound with this being the most lucid and melodic but also darkest one making it extremely diverse - Angel Dust simply never gets boring!
