R30 was filmed on Rush s 30th Anniversary tour in 2004 on September 24 at the Festhalle in Frankfurt. The R30 concerts showcased the band s entire career with tracks from the early seventies onwards. The show was originally released on DVD worldwide in 2005 but has been unavailable for some time outside of last year s R40 box set. The show includes four cover versions that had appeared on the 2004 Feedback album, which have rarely been played live outside of this tour. The set also contains a wealth of archive bonus material on the second disc.
